Blueprinting (Remington 700 or clone)

Actions are blue printed by squaring the action, bolt, bolt face, raceway, ect

Knob Service

Bolt is inserted in a jig in the lathe, a small pilot hole is drilled into bottom of the bolt so the tail stock can hold the bolt in place

The factory bolt knob is then turned down to the desired diameter so it can be threaded

Threads are then cut, we do not use a tap and then final diameter in front of threads is turned to make a smooth transition from the handle to the new bolt knob
